This view provides a list of recent projects. Icons within the thumbnails give more detailed information about the type of the project and its content.
Project Explorer
The Project Explorer view allows you to organize projects. Projects can be created, edited, moved, deleted, and organized into folders. Projects can be displayed as thumbnails or a list as needed.
From a central location within the project, you can create new scans, import scans, or initiate new calculations in Image Stacking, Factory, and Hybrid.
Workflow Manager
The Starting Point for Scans and Further Processing
Even before the scanning process, you can choose in which of the modules (image stacking, factory, or hybrid) further processing of the scan data should take place. After completion of the scanning process, the scan data is automatically transferred to the desired application. It is also possible to specify which workstation should be used for calculation and completion.
Image Preview
Quickly and easily check your scan data
The Image Preview tool is integrated into Design Studio to check your scanned data easily. The viewer even opens image files of several gigabytes in seconds. Just as quickly, the viewer can switch between different zoom levels. For quick quality control, simple settings such as contrast and brightness can also be changed.
Template Manager
You can easily create scan templates with predefined settings for recurring scan jobs to optimize and speed up your workflow.
Our developers have programmed the Template Manager so that repetitive scanning tasks do not have to be set up each time. Even inexperienced users can load created templates and start the predefined scanning process. It is also possible to store and reload workflows that include Image Stacking or Factory.
Networkable
Networked Workstations and Notifications between Workstations
Design Studio allows for editing jobs from multiple workstations and in a local network. For example, a scan operator can already concentrate on the next project, while another employee processes and exports 3D scans at a second workstation. Design Studio keeps track of which task is next in each workflow.
All pending tasks within the workflow, such as 3D retouching with Factory or a post-exposure with Image Stacking, are displayed in the integrated notification center on the corresponding workstation. Even when processing several projects on different workstations simultaneously, users get an overview of which tasks are next.
