Innovative Mixing by Mouse Movement
Our Image Stacking software is designed to give users an easy way to overlay single scans of the same object to create a new mix. For this purpose, you create a group scan with various texture scans, which are then automatically loaded with the workflow function in Image Stacking for further processing.
Mathematically, such a mixture corresponds to a scan in which the illuminations of the input scans overlap. If, for example, lightings from left and right are mixed, lighting from both sides can also be digitally derived. Compared to a single scan, such a digital derivation is faster and even possible when the original is no longer available for scanning.
Our scanners capture your original under multiple different lighting configurations. This results in scans in which the structures on the surface can be specially emphasized or uniformly illuminated.
Unlike Photoshop, Image Stacking allows you to easily and innovatively mix your scans by simply moving the mouse, thus creating unique designs.
Mixing Scans
By moving the sliders you create a new, real mixture of your scans. Alternatively, you can hover over the surface with the mouse button pressed in the directions of the 3 loaded images (A+ B +C).
The new lighting mixture will be displayed immediately.
Scan Data Library
You have the possibility to mix 3 scans at a time. More scans can be found depending on how many scans have been created in the group scan. Simply drag and drop another scan with different texture or light settings into the mixing area and move the sliders to get a new impression.
