Factory (3D Calculation + Design)

The decor industry increasingly needs high-quality 3D height information from wood, stones, textiles and wallpaper surfaces. With Factory, you can meet these growing demands and provide your customers with accurate height information and excellent color data. In addition, you can add gloss and shadow effects via design settings.

With CRUSE Factory you get a program for 3D calculation that is seamlessly integrated into the CRUSE Design Studio.

Use the Workflow Manager and scanning software to create the required scans using the two light deflectors. When scanning is complete, the scans are automatically aligned and loaded into Factory for calculation.

In Factory, you make the desired presets. When exporting the calculations, you can choose different output modes. The very intuitive and clear user interface of the program in combination with the innovative project and workflow management enables not only the output of information on a high level with the precisely fitting color data, but also the output of data with gloss, shadow and diffuse colors.

How it works / scan preparation

Use the Workflow Manager and the scanning software to create the required scans with the two light deflectors (required). After scanning, the scans are automatically aligned and loaded into Factory for calculation.

User interface with all tools

For the calculation of the 3D information and the processing of light and color effects, you have access to intuitive and user-friendly tools via one interface.

Tab Sources

Under the Sources tab, you can adjust the settings for flatness, resolution and the histogram to your requirements before you start the calculation. It is also possible to replace the depth source, color source or gloss source or to import it again after editing.

Tab Shading

Using the Shading tab, you can change the lighting settings, add light sources, create impressive gloss effects and adjust the impression of the depth scaling of your template. In this way, they always create new, convincing designs from their templates.

Change color view

By double-clicking the sidebar, you can quickly change the layer from color mode to grayscale mode to assess the distribution of grayscale values.

Flatness Levels

Grayscale can be calculated and output in various flatness levels (1-7). With calculations with a low flatness value, templates with a high dynamic range (larger height differences) can be calculated. The higher the flatness value, the narrower the grayscale range in which the grayscale is output.
